Villa Lange is nestled on a hillside along the main road between the Port and Town of Aegina and the mountain villages of Tsikides and Pachia Rachi. The property comprises of about 4.900 m2 of land over part of which an olive grove is grown with over 30 olive trees and various others such as almond and lemon. The home is very suitable for a party of 2 to 6 persons looking for peace and tranquility, yet being close enough to the town and beaches, both of which are only minutes away by car or motor bike. The area – and the island – invites you for shorter and longer nature walks in hilly and mountainous terrain. Particularly the North and Eastern Parts of Aegina Island offer numerous walks within pine forests offering breathtaking views towards the Saronic Gulf, the island of Salamis and Athens beyond.
Villa Lange is on 3 levels .The entrance to the home is on the main floor. It comprises of the living room with a dining area, internet, Wi-Fi and cable TV are connected. There is a radio with CD player and a satellite TV with video/DVD … and … there are books in English/German/Spanish and board games. The main floor also has one bedroom (queen bed) with in-suite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside is a large terrace with an outdoor dining table, covered by a pergola to protect against the summer heat and rain during off seasons.
The upper floor has a large master bedroom (queen bed) with in-suite bathroom and a large 40 m2 roof terrace, featuring an awning for shade and an outdoor corner sofa. Views are all-round from South to North-West of Aegina Island, the neighboring island of Angistri, the Saronic Gulf and the mountainous areas of the Peloponnese peninsula.
The lower floor has one additional bedroom (queen bed) with in-suite bathroom. The lower floor has its own fully equipped kitchenette. The washing machine is for general use by all guests in the house. Laundry drying is done on a rack in the open air in the back yard next to the car port.
The pool 10 x 4.5 m (33 x 15 ft.) is tiled, and about 1.35 to 2.15 m deep. The surrounding area is covered with flagstones and a new pavilion is installed at its North-West corner. The pavilion provides shade throughout the day and also protects against wind and rain when needed.
Rooms have individual air conditioning and heating wall units. During summer, air-condition units are typically used from midday into early evening, otherwise open doors and windows provide a comfortable and gentle breeze (all windows have screens). Hot water is supplied by solar heating. The home comes with all cooking and dinner ware, linen and towels, including separate pool towels, and weekly cleaning.
